The 'Reciopella' Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Zamparelli is obtained exclusively from hand-picked and cold-pressed olives of the ancient local variety Reciopella that grows only in the mountain area of Benevento in the Campania region. This extra virgin olive oil is not filtered.

On the nose, it has a medium delicate fruitiness with notes of olives, herbs, and ripe apples with an almond aftertaste.
On the palate, it is elegant, sweet, and delicate with notes of olives and mature apples and a very light spice aftertaste.

Olive Varieties: 100% Reciopella.
Pairing ideas: raw fish, seafood dishes, white meats, salads, fish soups, and fresh pecorini cheeses.

Zamparelli is a family run company located in Cerreto Sannita near Benevento, in the mountain area of the Campania region. The Zamparelli family has about 24 acres of ancient olive trees dating back to 539BC. The slightly sloping and south-facing terrain is located at an altitude of between 885 and 1033 feet above sea level. The whole estate is equipped with a drip irrigation system.
