The 'ORO' Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Zamparelli is obtained from hand-picked and cold-pressed of Frantoio, Leccino olives, and ancient local olive varieties Ortice, Reciopella, Ortolana that grow only in the mountain area of Benevento in the Campania region. This extra virgin olive oil is not filtered.
On the nose, it has soft undertones of freshly cut grass, fresh tomatoes, white apple, and almonds. On the palate, it is sweet and fruity with a good equilibrium of spice and bitter.
It is perfect with seafood dishes, raw and cooked vegetables and mushrooms. A delicious oil for finishing sauces and soups.
