Trofie pasta from Pastificio Santa Rita is made with high-quality durum wheat semolina and pure spring water from the Graveglia Valley. Typical to Liguria, these trofie are made by hand, then dried at low temperatures, which creates a firm texture and keeps all the aroma and healthy properties of the grain.

Thanks to their tapered, curved shape, the trofie perfectly pick up the Genovese Basil Pesto.

Directions: Cooking time: 15 minutes in boiling water.

The Santa Rita pasta factory was founded in 1989 by Alberto Pozza in Conscenti di Ne, near Genova, Liguria. Today his wife Dorothy and their kids Paola, Roberta and Alessio continue to produce traditional Ligurian pasta by working only with high-quality durum wheat semolina and selected raw materials from the surrounding area.
