Thomasville Tomme is a semi-firm cheese with some elasticity and dense texture. It is artisanally made in the heart of Georgia from a small family-run dairy farm. The name of the cheese comes after the small town of Thomasville, where the cheese ages and it is produced. This cheese is made using unpasteurized grass-fed cow's milk, cultures, traditional rennet, and sea salt. Thomasville Tomme is a gravity-pressed cheese that ages for 4 months. The cheese offers cave-like aromas of earth and mushrooms with hints of buttermilk and hay. On the nose, it is buttery, grassy, and tangy with a long finish of salinity and fresh cream.

Enjoy this artisanal made cheese in your cheese board and pair it with an earthy red wine or a hoppy Pale Ale.

Based in the small town of Thomasville in heart of Georgia, Sweet Grass Dairy is a small artisanal farm that makes cheeses using the best milk of their grass-fed cows. The name of the company comes after their beautiful grass pasture where their cows eat sweet grass every day of the year. Their cows are also moved to partitioned pasture areas, to allow vegetation in previously grazed pastures to regenerate.
