About this Class: Italy’s northernmost province of Alto Adige boasts the beauty of the Dolomites (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Mediterranean landscape, and Alpine peaks. The cuisine of the region is influenced by its mild climate, fertile soil, and its neighboring territories including modern-day Austria & Switzerland. Wines of the region are produced from the valleys while meats and cheeses are created and cured in the in the alpine mountain pastures following tradition. On November 8th the producers from Alto Adige themselves will come to Eataly to teach about their traditional products and unique wines! Join us in La Scuola to learn from these experts and enjoy a traditional meal curated by our chef of La Scuola to discover the lesser-known secrets from the kitchens of Alto Adige.
