In 1945, Toschi was started as a small workshop in the outskirts of Vignola - famous for its cherries - by brothers Giancarlo and Lanfranco. First only producing frutta sotto spirito, or fruits in liqueur, the company quickly expanded into making a wide variety of products such as syrups, liqueurs, and balsamic vinegar.
