Learn: La Scuola di Eataly by Valcucine

Can kids attend classes?

We now offer a series called Kid's Kitchen, so kids can learn to cook too! In our Bring Your Parent to La Scuola program, we want to bring together parents and their kids with a bonding activity that instills a love and understanding of food while playing with it!

You can see which Kid's Kitchen classes are available by clicking here. Reach out to la.lascuola@eataly.com with any additional inquiries, e.g. age restrictions for each class.

What is the format of the cooking classes?

At La Scuola, we have three class formats: Hands-On, Sip & Savor, and Chef's Table.

During the hands-on our resident chef prepares each dish step by step in our open kitchen, demonstrating how to make each dish. Guests then get to make and eat each dish themselves, often paired with complimentary wine pairings, as they follow along with provided recipes and tasting notes.

Sip & Savor is not hands-on. Each guest will get to taste some Italian delicacies, often paired with complimentary wine, while listening to the history and to some fun facts of the dish.

Chef's Table dinners are proper 4 to 5 courses dinners. Each dish is paired with decadent wines and with beautiful stories about the dishes' origins and culture.
