Summer Paint & Sip

About this Class: Beat the Heat and step into La Scuola di Eataly! In this Paint & Sip class you will learn to paint just like the Italian masters while sipping a spritz and enjoying Italian bites inspired by summer on the Amalfi Coast. Work step-by-step with our guest artist, Isaiah Gulino, to transform your canvas with an Amalfi inspired still life featuring the same regional bites you will get to enjoy! No experience is needed to attend this class and all skill levels are welcome.

About the Intructor: Isaiah Gulino is an academically trained draftsman and painter based in Brooklyn, NY. His Italian American upbringing stems from his grandmother, who grew up in Valguarnera, Caropepe near Catana, Sicilia. She instilled a deep passion for visual arts, classical music, and culinary exploration within him. Isaiah has exhibited his paintings locally as well as internationally. He is most known for the documentation of urban symbolism with a romantic connection to beauty in the unexpected. His imagery is reinforced with an appreciation and technical understanding of color and light. He is honored to share this unique combination of the Italian traditions behind food and visual arts, in an experience engaging to the senses.
