At Eataly, we believe that there is no wrong way to make — and eat — tiramisù! In time for Tiramisù Day on March 21, we are celebrating the dolce in our favorite forms at every store. Join us to taste different recipes, get the ingredients, and discover how to recreate it with flash labs led by our experts.
WHAT IS TIRAMISÙ?
Tiramisù is a delicate medley of rich espresso, creamy mascarpone, and airy ladyfinger cookies. The ladyfingers are dipped in warm espresso, then layered together with sweetened mascarpone cheese, and finally dusted to perfection in cocoa powder. One taste reminds us why the Italian name means “pick-me-up.”
WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?
The iconic dessert hails from Treviso, a romantic city near Venezia. Today, tiramisù is beloved across the world; nearly every Italian and her nonna believe they have the best version (but we have to say, our recipe comes close).
