DISCOVER NEW PESTO PAIRINGS

Market specials and free tastings through August 4

From pasta to salads, dips to dressings, pesto is an easy and ready-to-go addition to any summer table. Look out for these featured producers and special tastings at the Eataly Flatiron Market:

Pesto di Pra’
This Ligurian producer has been cultivating high-quality basil and making the famous green sauce since 1827. Their Basilico Genovese DOP (a special variety of basil) is grown in their greenhouses in Pra’, a Ligurian town near Genova. The resulting pesto offers an infusion of bright Ligurian flavors jarred and ready for your table: fresh basil, olive oil, Grana Padano DOP, Pecorino Romano DOP, Italian pine nuts, sea salt, and garlic. From the classic pesto alla genovese to red pesto with basil or creamy walnut sauce, explore all three flavors. Don't forget to pair with our Pane Rustico bread at 30% off when you buy any Pesto di Pra' product!

Gnocchi Mamma Emma
Made from the highest quality potatoes, eggs, and flour, this traditional and velvety pasta gets a summer makeover when paired with pesto. Pick them up this week for a quick summer meal – here's the recipe!

Pasta di Liguria
Pasta shapes typical of Liguria also make for a perfect pesto-to-pasta pairing. Producer Pasta di Liguria makes regional pasta from their hometown at the foot of the Apennine mountains using artisan techniques and pure, organic ingredients. Shop for a new shape from this region for an authentic meal inspired by the famed Italian Riviera.

Daily Demos and Tastings
Not sure how to pair your pesto? Stop by for fresh ideas and free pesto tastings every day from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Learn all there is to know about where pesto comes from, how it's made, and how to pair it with pasta and more.
