Meaning "beef" in Italian, Manzo is a casual butcher’s restaurant set aside from our bustling marketplace. True to its name, Manzo celebrates all things meat. At the entrance, a glass-enclosed butcher room offers an inside look at the art of butchery. Steps away, the open dining room serves a simple but complete menu, which highlights the best weekly offerings from our regional producers in meat, vegetable, and pasta dishes. The expansive bar features an extensive vermouth program.

THE PRODUCERS

Designed by Eataly NYC Flatiron Executive Chef Michael Nogera and Chef de Cuisine Chris Caliso, Manzo's menu centers around the talented producers behind the ingredients. Our chefs and butchers went to farms, ranches, and dairies across the region, searching for producers who share our dedication to products that are good, clean, and fair.

Meet the producers!

THE VERMOUTH

Vermouth is an aromatized, fortified wine flavored with various botanicals, roots, barks, flowers, seeds, herbs, and spices. While vermouth was traditionally used for medicinal purposes, its true claim to fame is as an aperitif and key ingredient to many cocktails. With Italian mixologist Davide Pinto at the helm, the program features more than 30 Italian and domestic vermouths, along with a rotating selection of vermouth-forward cocktails.

This vermouth twist pays homage to the original Eataly, which opened in Torino in 2007 in a once-abandoned Carpano vermouth factory.

THE BUTCHER ROOM

The focal point of Manzo is the butcher room, a glass-enclosed space that offers an inside look at the art of butchery. On weekdays, you can actually watch butchers break down animals during the day; during dinner service, the glass-enclosed room will showcase prosciutto carving and prep. Then, on weekends, the Butcher Room will be dedicated to interactive activities.

In other words: we're literally going to show you how the sausage is made.
