BAITA is Eataly's Italian Alps pop-up restaurant on the 14th floor. Enclosed by a retractable roof and dotted with heaters, the cozy year-round space offers a view of the city skyline with a hearty taste of northern Italy, from hearty beef shanks to New York's first polenta bar.

In Piemonte, BAITA <bye-tah> is the dialect word for a small ski lodge in the Italian Alps. Made of wooden walls topped with a stone-slab roof, this cozy dwelling is the ideal place to escape the elements after an exhilarating day outdoors, while enjoying simple food and drink, such as rustic polenta, housemade sausage, and mulled wine.

High above the slopes of Fifth Avenue, BAITA offers a warm retreat for anyone trekking about New York City. We might have replaced the stone slab and nearby hills of grazing sheep with a retractable glass roof and views of the neighboring Flatiron building, but BAITA'S food and drink will make you feel like you're in the Italian Alps, right in the middle of Manhattan.

NYC RESTAURANT WEEK

January 22-February 9

Join us during NYC Restaurant Week for a specially priced three-course menus for lunch ($29) and dinner ($42). The prix-fixe menus offer a tasting of favorite BAITA dishes, from antipasti such as Manzo Spiedini (Grilled Snake River Wagyu beef skewers finished with seasoned extra virgin olive oil) to primi including Polenta con Ragù (Wild Hive oolenta with Creekstone Ranch beef ragù and Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP). Finish your meal with a creamy dolce of Panna Cotta ai Frutti di Bosco (panna cotta topped with fresh berries).

HOUSE-BREWED BEER

In collaboration with Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head and Teo Musso of Baladin, Eataly's head brewer is brewing unfiltered, unpasteurized, and naturally-carbonated cask ales just 30 feet from where you sit, eat, and drink. Each of our house-brewed cask ales is served through traditional hand pumps at the perfect temperature, so you can enjoy our beers in the most natural and traditional way.

Host a memorable party or dinner under the stars! Seated group reservations are available on the roof for 11 to 30 guests with a family-style or prix-fixe menu. For a unique experience, book festive semi-private cabins for up to 25 guests.
