All About Gnocchi

During the harsh months of winter, Italians turn to heartwarming dishes to bring warm comfort in their lives. One of the usual suspects on that list of rich and comforting dishes - gnocchi!

This season we invite you to discover the comforting world of Gnocchi! Literally meaning "little knuckles," gnocchi are a bit-sized pasta typically made of riced potato and flour. The dough is then rolled, one by one, over a textured surface to produce sauce-capturing ridges. This form of pasta has been around since ancient Roman times, and was typically found in the Italy's northern regions.
