From October 10 to 12, six famed chefs from across the globe will flock to Eataly NYC Flatiron for the eighth U.S. edition of Identità Golose, the acclaimed international chefs' forum. From Ana Roš to Massimo Bottura, these all-stars will compare the latest trends in a three-day convention that — get ready — is open to the public.

CULINARY SEMINARS

In each intimate seminar, two chefs will be paired in our cooking school to share their favorite new culinary techniques as they each create an innovative dish. As they work their magic, you will enjoy each dish — prepared and plated before your eyes! — served with complementary wine pairings.

DINE-AROUND DINNER

On October 11, the convention will peak with what can only be described as an epic dine-around experience! Each of the six chefs is crafting a different dish for the decadent six-course menu, which will be served at different restaurants (all of which will be closed to the public for the special occasion). At each destination, the chefs will present their respective dishes for you to enjoy with perfectly-paired wines.

WHAT IS IDENTITÀ GOLOSE?

Identità Golose, founded in 2004 by Italian food journalist Paolo Marchi, is a culinary organization whose mission is to highlight the best of contemporary Italian cuisine, showcase the culinary excellence of each Italian region, and honor the top Italian chefs who proudly blend traditional techniques with modern methods. The first Identità Golose event was held in Milano in 2005, and many more have been held since, each showcasing the greatest Italian and international chefs, pastry chefs, and artisanal producers. The success of Identità Golose in Italy eventually led to the launch of Identità London in 2009 and finally with an American audience in 2010.

This year, the international theme is "Don’t waste the planet; the truth is in the dish," representing how the restaurant industry and everyday lives are interconnected. The events this October will highlight how chefs around the entire world are no longer just ambassadors of taste and quality but also ambassadors of sustainability, good practices, and new techniques.
