Pane & Vino at Eataly NYC Flatiron

Pane & Vino at Eataly NYC Flatiron

“I feast on bread and wine, and feasts they are.” – Michelangelo

In Italy, pane e vino are the ultimate culinary staples. No home – or meal for that matter – is complete without bread and wine, the foundation of Italian cuisine.

As we dive deeper into fall, we are celebrating this comforting pairing at Eataly NYC Flatiron! From October 10 to November 6, join us for special pairings, featured market products, and daily complimentary tastings.

Eat (and drink!), shop, and learn all about bread and wine!

From October 10 to 16, enjoy a trio of autumn bruschette paired with select wines at all of our ground-floor restaurants. This traditional dish is remarkably simple, so the quality of the ingredients is key. Accordingly, our team sources the best autumnal produce from Union Square Greenmarket every day, seasons it to perfection, and tops our freshly-toasted rustico bread.

The trio includes: Fagioli Bruschetta, made with cannellini beans, rosemary and extra virgin olive oil; Pera e Gorgonzola Bruschetta, made with seared Bosc Pears, radishes, and Gorgonzola Dolce (a mild, sweeter gorgonzola); and Zucca Bruschetta, made with roasted Long Island cheese, pumpkin, brown butter and sage. We recommend pairing the trio with a glass of highlighted wine suggested by our sommelier!

Processed with Snapseed.

Every day, our bakers knead dough, shape loaves, and bake bread to perfection. Explore our selection of freshly-baked bread, from the classic rustico served in our restaurants to the unique Pane Mediterraneo, which we are introducing on October 14. Then, stop by Eataly Vino, our wine shop located next door on 23rd Street, to discover our regional Italian wines.

After you’ve picked up the culinary staples, shop our selection of classic pairings. We love to enjoy bread and wine with cured meats, cheeses, sweet and savory spreads, and more. Explore our market, and create your own tradition!

Now that you’ve tasted new pairings and shopped our ingredients, you’re ready to learn how pair and prepare pane e vino at home! Check out the schedules for complimentary bread tastings and wine tastings every day through November 6.

And don't miss the festivities of Bread Week (October 10 to 16) and Barolo Weeks (October 17 to 30)!

Buon appetito!
