Mushroom Week at Eataly NYC Flatiron

Mushrooms are favored by acclaimed chefs and home cooks alike, who prize the fungi for their rich earthy flavors and savory umami qualities. Perfect for colder weather, the versatile ingredients can be enjoyed sautéed, baked, grilled, and much more.

This week, Eataly NYC Flatiron focusing on mushrooms across the store with special dishes in our restaurants, featured fresh varieties in the market, and daily complimentary tastings in our educational corner. From November 7 to 13, eat, shop, and learn all about mushrooms!


All week, our restaurants are featuring fresh mushroom dishes in our restaurants, such as La Pizza & La Pasta's Pappardelle con Funghi Maitake (Maitake mushrooms, thyme, Parmigiano Reggiano, and a white truffle butter sauce) and Baccalá e Polenta (Wild Hive Farm’s Polenta with cured Atlantic cod, housemade rye bread, and shaved white button mushrooms) at Il Pesce. Manzo even has dedicated an entire limited-edition menu to the ingredient (along with its fungal cousin, the truffle)!

We recommend pairing our mushroom dishes with a robust glass of Sagrantino, a full-bodied red wine from Umbria. As a special treat in all ground-floor restaurants, when you order one bottle of wine, we’ll give you a complimentary cicchetto — a savory snack or side dish — of roasted polenta cakes with mushroom and Parmigiano Reggiano fonduta!
