Spend Your Weekends Downtown

Spend Your Weekends Downtown

We've already established that Eataly NYC Downtown is the place to have a summer fling, whether you're fanning the flames with your partner or single and looking.

Now, you can make the season even more unforgettable with activities and events every weekend, all summer long! With kid-friendly cooking classes, rosé-focused happy hours, and pop-up tasting markets, we have your plans covered this weekend — and the next, and the next!

Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Bring the whole family together at hands-on cooking classes created for the young — and young at heart! Led by our Eatalian ambassadors, parents and kids will learn how to make pesto, shape gnocchi, and much more.

All classes are held at Foodiversità, our "food university," located in the northwest corner of the market. Free and open to the public, these kids classes do require advance registration, so we can make sure everyone has all the supplies they need.

Rosé Hour: Friday,  2-7 p.m.; Wandering Wine Cart: Friday, 5-7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

Treat your fling to a glass of rosé — or two! It's summer, after all. Kick off your weekends on Summer Friday with Rosé Hour at our wine bar! Every Friday from 2-7 p.m., select Italian rosés are just $8 per glass and $30 per bottle.

Then, liven up your weekend shopping when you find the wandering wine cart, which offers a range of Italian wines by the glass for you to snag as you shop. The cart wanders only on Friday from 5 -7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 p.m., so plan accordingly!

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

Ever wondered what sun-popped popcorn tasted like? Or how about sheep's milk cheese? And what's the deal with that spreadable sausage 'nduja?

Try before you buy at Summer Mercatino, our pop-up tasting market! Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, different producers and in-store artisans will take over the market with booths from 1-5 p.m. Stop by to meet the people behind the products, get recipe ideas, and enjoy complimentary tastes.
