From November 13 to 19, Eataly is joining more than 130 countries to celebrate La Settimana della Cucina Italiana with a special class (hint: tiramisu! details below). The festivities showcase the popularity of Italian food and drink abroad, made clear by the “Made in Italy” brand’s international success.

Over the centuries, Italy’s universally beloved products have become ambassadors for Italian excellence. For each, all-natural ingredients are incorporated into age-old recipes still followed by generations of artisans across Italy’s 20 regions. Thanks to this passion for tradition and quality, Italy is known across the globe for its specialties, from Prosciutto di Parma DOP to Parmigiano Reggiano DOP to Chianti DOCG.

At Eataly — both in Italy and across the world — we have dedicated ourselves to sharing these "eccellenze italiane" by creating a place where guests can taste modern Italian dishes, shop for authentic regional products, and discover their stories and how to enjoy them at home.

Celebrate Italian Cuisine Week at Eataly NYC Downtown on Wednesday, November 15, at 1 p.m. for a special complimentary class on tiramisu della nonna at Foodiversita, our free "food university." No registration is needed; seating will be first come, first served.

Italian Cuisine Week is led by The Extraordinary Italian Taste project, which aims to reinforce Italian quality by educating food lovers on how to identify and appreciate authentic Italian products.
