Every day, she and her team create typical Italian pastries, cakes, and cannoli that are as beautiful as they are delicious. In keeping with Italian tradition, Chef Katia pays particular attention to quality, using the finest Italian and American ingredients.

Our pastry chefs are not only interested in making beautiful pastries every day: Eataly's head pastry chef in Italy, Luca Montersino, has devoted his career to raising awareness of the benefits of eating healthy, natural foods.

GOLOSI DI SALUTE

After years of research and development, Chef Luca Montersino created Italy’s first line of healthy pastries. Under the veil of his pastry line, “Golosi di Salute,” Luca creates recipes for health-conscious and allergen-friendly treats, including traditional cakes, chocolates, gluten-free cookies, and jams sweetened only with grape sugar.

TRADITION MEETS INNOVATION

Chef Katia learned Chef Luca's recipes and techniques while working at his side for Golosi di Salute in Torino. Every morning, Chef Katia and her staff recreate these recipes and beyond in our pastry kitchen with meticulous attention to detail, following traditional techniques and methods. The results are classic Italian pastries presented as innovative works of art.

PASTICCINI

A first for Eataly in the U.S., Chef Katia now offers a seasonal selection of these prized pastries in bite-sized varieties. In the Italian tradition, assorted pasticcini are offered as gifts and served for dessert, as a treat to accompany espresso, and for celebrations with spumante.

CHOCOLATE BY VENCHI

Eataly's pastries are complemented by a selection of Venchi's fine Italian chocolates.

Founded in Piemonte in 1878, Venchi follows traditional recipes to create artisanal chocolates with only the finest natural ingredients, such as criollo cocoa, natural vanilla, and the famous Piemontese IGP hazelnut. At our dedicated counter, order anything from a single chocolate truffle to an entire customized tray.
