One of the great things about Italy is its many coastal regions. In summer, Italians gravitate to the seaside to enjoy the cool breeze, seasonal seafood, and summer bites. Eat your way through our coastal-inspired menu with dishes like Fritto di Calamari  - fresh squid lightly fried and paired with a spicy tomato sauce for a delicious antipasto.

Transport yourself to the idyllic isle of Capri in Campania with a classic Insalata Caprese, made with Kerry's Heirloom Tomatoes, Mozzarella di Bufala, Basil, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Travel to the beaches of the Amalfi coast with Scialatielli con Sugo di Mare - a regional pasta shape paired with fresh shrimp, mussels, squid, and Mutti tomatoes.

While shopping around Westfield Century City, make sure to make a stop for a refreshing drink! Cool off with an Aperol Spritz – the original recipe dates back to Veneto in the 1800s, when visitors from the Hapsburg Empire would lighten strong Italian wine from local taverns with a splash of water. Or try a peach-infused Bellini, invented in 1948 by a barman at the legendary Harry’s Bar in Venezia, made with two parts Prosecco Col Fondo (unfiltered and fermented in the bottle) and one part fresh peach purée, served chilled.

Our wine experts have also curated a selection of their favorite bottles for refreshing summer drinking outdoors. Try something sparkling, or spumante, like Ronco Belvedere Prosecco of Veneto, to pair with coastal, seafood dishes or sip on a bright pink Solerose from Fontannafredda, an esteemed estate located in the rolling hills of Langhe, in the heart of Piedmonte. Pair with seaside-inspired dishes and you will be transported to a piazza on the Italian coast!
