Summer Like An Italian at SABBIA

Summer Like An Italian at SABBIA

The tide is coming in, Chicago – and it's bringing with it SABBIA, our summertime restaurant inspired by the Italian seaside!

Escape the hot pavement and busy beaches to Italy’s iconic coastline with a menu that celebrates both land and sea, from spiedini (skewers) to sea-inspired pasta at SABBIA. As you relax among the festive umbrellas, enjoy dishes upon dishes of easy-to-eat coastal fare paired with housemade craft beers, regional Italian wines, summer-friendly cocktails, and an all-new wine menu featuring more than 100 Italian rosés all summer long.

SABBIA is where you'll want to spend your summer nights – especially with our weekly events featuring cocktails, coastal fare, and more! See the schedule below.

Every Monday and Tuesday, 5-7 p.m.

$7 rosé and prosciutto? Count us in! Think: rosé all day meets happy hour Italian-style. To take part, just stop into SABBIA! This new version of Rosé Hour starts Monday, September 3; until then, we'll be celebrating with $1 oysters, $8 glasses, and $30 bottles.

Every Wednesday, starts at 5 p.m.

Every Wednesday, our expert beverage team chooses a very special wine: a rare find, a magnum of rosé, or a coastal favorite, to feature at a special price. The one catch? Only while it lasts! The party starts every Wednesday at 5 p.m. in SABBIA on the second floor.

Thursdays through September 27, 5-9 p.m.

The iconic drink of the Italian coast is an Aperol Spritz, and we're sipping seaside every Thursday with the ultimate beach party in SABBIA! Our Beach Cocktail Party features a local DJ spinning beachy tunes, $6 Aperol Spritz cocktails, complimentary tastings from our Spritz Cart, and special giveaways (think: Aperol Spritz sunglasses, glassware, and more) in SABBIA. The party is from 5 to 9 p.m., but our Swim-Up Spritz Bar will serve cocktails all night long.

Wondering what makes beach culture in Italy so incredible? We've got a guide for that.
