At Eataly Chicago, we believe that pizza is a serious thing, which is why we've launched Quattro Mani: Pizza Pairings. After all, "four hands" are better than two! Held every Tuesday, the series features a different Chicago guest chef preparing pizza alongside our own pizzaioli — and you're invited to taste and learn with us.
For the next Quattro Mani, join us in welcoming Chef Edward Kim from Ruxbin and Mott St on Tuesday, April 18, from 6-9 p.m. Taste our talented guest's pizza plated side by side with our own Neapolitan-style variety at La Pizza & La Pasta!
Chef Edward's is featuring some iconic ingredients from Mott St with his pizza, Crossing Borders (bulgogi, roasted sweet peppers, kimchi purée, and mozzarella di bufala on Eataly's Classica pizza dough). Served alongside will be Eataly and Rossopomodoro pizzaiolo Simone Iavarone's Cremolosa (Cremini mushrooms, spinach, garlic, and mozzarella on Eataly's Classica pizza dough). Enjoy both for $18!
Don’t forget to pair it with a cocktail prepared by the beverage team at Mott St: The Cultural Appropriator (Casoni 1814 Aperitivo, Malort, lemon juice, and basil) for just $12.
The best part? $10 from every pizza pairing sold will go to Crossing Borders, an organization based in Glenview, Illinois. Crossing Borders ensures North Korean refugees' safety, provides spiritual counseling, medical care and issues micro loans. They also support children whose North Korean mothers have been sent back to North Korea or have abandoned them through family and holistic support.
