Osteria del Mercato embodies Eataly’s core philosophy with a menu that draws daily inspiration from the marketplace. A first for Eataly, the market is your menu. When you dine at Osteria del Mercato, you will have the opportunity to select high-quality products to enjoy right at your table from the most beloved parts of Eataly’s market counters: La Macelleria (butcher), La Pescheria (fishmonger), and our wine enoteca of over 1,200 labels of regional Italian wine.

HOW IT WORKS
Osteria del Mercato is for both the traditional and the curious diner. If you're in the mood for a classic osteria experience, you can simply select from our menu of seasonal Italian plates comprised of products from Italian and local Chicago producers, wine by the glass and bottle, cocktails, and housemade beer.

Or, are you feeling adventurous? We encourage you to visit our fresh counters and handpick cuts of high-quality meat and seafood from producers like Catalpa Grove, Creekstone Farms, Red’s Best, and more. Then, head to our enoteca, the largest collection of regional Italian wine in North America, and handpick bottles to pour at your table. Once you select your cuts and your wine pairings, return to your table and our chefs will prepare your choices in a simple Italian style with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. Buon appetito!

EATALY SUPPER CLUB

Osteria del Mercato will host Eataly’s first ever Supper Club, a monthly series of market-driven dinners with Eataly butchers, fishmongers, cheesemongers, and Italian & U.S. producers. At these dinners, the market will come to life with multiple courses of regional Italian cuisine paired with Italian wine from Eataly’s marketplace. Alongside an esteemed winemaker, expert, or artisanal producer, guests will be able to engage in lively discussions about local and Italian ingredients and tradition.

American Wagyu with Snake River Farms
Thursday, March 5, 6-7:30 p.m.

We are thrilled to welcome to experts from Snake River Farms to our first-ever American Wagyu dinner at Osteria del Mercato! At this dinner, you will enjoy four courses from Osteria del Mercato’s new market-to-table menu, including cuts of American Wagyu from Snake River Farms (Eye of Ribeye, Zabuton, and Outside Skirt), and four Italian wines. You'll meet the experts from Snake River Farms: Rick Bourbonnais and Jeff Van Lith, an experienced rancher who has raised American Wagyu cattle for the past 15 years (word on the street is he’s also participated in rodeos!), and learn what makes Snake River Farms' beef so special, where and how it’s made, and more.
