GIFT BASKETS – Brand new gift boxes have arrived on EXPLORE THE COLLECTIONS.

Join us on Sunday, February 14, from 12-6 p.m. as we welcome local artisans and crafters to Eataly Chicago for Mercatino, our monthly craft market.

Mercatino, Italian for "market," is a place for local artisans and crafters to showcase their wares and share their passions with others. Just as we search carefully for the best products and producers to display on our shelves at Eataly, we have hand-selected each artisan for Mercatino. A selection of the city's best artisans will be stationed throughout the store displaying their innovative wares, from functional furniture to handmade jewelry. All artisans' wares will be available for purchase.

Read about all the artisans below, and join us on the second Sunday of every month to meet more local artisans!

Mashallah Ghouleh, MASHALLAH
With an innate appreciation of beautiful things, Mashallah Ghouleh a Chicago based jewelry designer began her career in fashion, working in Chicago as a wardrobe stylist. After 8 years of dressing some of the city’s most influential people she began her journey of designing when friends, family, and strangers requested that Mashallah make them pieces of their own. With that, MASHALLAH jewelry was born.

At Mercatino, MASHALLAH can be found on the first floor of Eataly Chicago.

JeanMarie Petro, Weener Ware
Weener Ware started with a desire to create something beautiful and fun from something that would normally end up in the trash. A combination of her artistic experience and part-time job as a bartender, Petro saw opportunity for an amazing new venture – Weener Ware!

At Mercatino, Petro can be found on the first floor of Eataly Chicago.

Peter Gaona, ReformedSchool
Peter Gaona is the founder of ReformedSchool, where he creates handmade bow ties from combinations of repurposed, vintage, and new materials. All of his bow ties are pre-tied, versatile, and can be worn with jeans or to a black tie event.

At Mercatino, ReformedSchool can be found on the first floor of Eataly Chicago.

Shamus, Real. Soaps
Real. Soaps was founded by Shamus, who discovered that many soaps are made only with detergent and the chemicals in them make them far less than natural. He found a solution and has since been producing bar soaps with no dyes, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. The best part? All Real. soaps and bath products (including scrubs, oils, and even lip balm!) are 100% natural & handmade in Chicago.

At Mercatino, Real. Soaps can be found on the first floor of Eataly Chicago.
