At Eataly, we are proud to offer artisanal products from farmers, butchers, and bakers across Italy and the United States. But we cannot forget our own collection of expert artisans at Eataly Chicago! Every week, this talented team creates 1,200 pounds of fresh mozzarella, 2,500 hand-tossed pizzas, and 5,000 loaves of handmade bread — all under our roof.

Meet our artisans (and taste their wares) on Friday, August 28, at Made In Eataly, a day-long celebration with complimentary tastings, special retail offers, and hands-on demonstrations. Eat, shop, and learn about our delicious housemade products!

If you can't make it to one of our hands-on cooking classes where our experts teach you step by step how to make mozzarella, fresh pasta, or bread, you're in luck! On August 28, our artisans will host complimentary hands-on demonstrations of our "Made in Eataly" products throughout the day in La Scuola, our cooking school.

Try your hand at rolling out fresh pasta dough and forming your own shapes.

Hands-On Forming Formaggio | 12-3 p.m., La Scuola (second floor)
After our expert cheesemonger demonstrates how to make creamy, chewy mozzarella from curds and boiling salted water, participate in a hands-on workshop.

Hands-On Bread Making | 12-3 p.m., La Scuola (second floor)
Experience the bread-making process with our head baker, Erin Flinn, and taste our Classic Rustic bread.

The Art of the Bellini | 12-10 p.m., Vino Libero (second floor)
Watch as our staff demonstrates how to make the classic Bellini using Prosecco and fresh white peach puree.
