Cozy up, Chicago – BAITA is here! Inspired by the Italian Alps, BAITA (pronounced bye-tah) is an all-new restaurant now open on our second floor.

Meaning "ski lodge" in Piemontese dialect, BAITA is our answer to fighting the winter blues. As the temperatures drop, escape the chilly sidewalks of Chicago and let yourself be whisked away to a cozy ski lodge in a northern Italian mountain town.

The new winter-infused restaurant features food and drink fit for the chilly ski slopes, including Alpine-style finger food, an all new gnoccheria serving pillowy potato gnocchi by Master Gnocchi, and melted raclette cheese. Don't miss the chance to relax in BAITA's Alpine lounge, where you can enjoy specialty cocktails, boozy hot chocolate, warming wines, Vin Brulè, and even more seasonal bites!

Where is the new restaurant? We've said ciao for now to SABBIA and have transformed our 150-seat restaurant space on the second floor into a warming ski lodge, complete with snow-capped furnishings, wooden sleds, blankets, twinkling lights, and vintage skis. No matter the weather outside, one thing is sure: BAITA is the coziest place to be in Chicago this winter.

VINO HOUR
Every Monday and Tuesday, 5-7 p.m.

$5 arancini with fonduta? $8 glasses of wine? Don't have to ask us twice! Think: Apres ski meets happy hour Italian-style. Wine menu includes a red and white option. To take part, just stop into BAITA!

WINE WEDNESDAY
Every Wednesday, starting at 5 p.m.

Every Wednesday, our expert beverage team chooses a very special wine: a rare find, a magnum of red wine, or sparkling wine, to feature at a special price. The one catch? Only while it lasts! The party starts every Wednesday at 5 p.m. in BAITA on the second floor.

COCKTAIL PARTY WITH LUXARDO
Every Thursday, 5-9 p.m

Spritz aren't just for the summer months! We'll be taking a break from the slopes each Thursday night to drink all the Alpine Spritz with our amici from Luxardo. Our weekly Cocktail Party with Luxardo features a local DJ$6 Alpine Spritz cocktails, and complimentary tastings of Luxardo liqueur in BAITA. The party is from 5 to 9 p.m., but our Cocktail Bar will feature seasonal cocktails all winter long.
