This May, take a tasty trip to Italy's capital without leaving Chicago! Open weekends in May, Eataly's pop-up restaurant Roma is dedicated to the iconic food and wine of the Eternal City, which you'll learn is just as key to the culture as the Colosseum or the Pantheon.

At Roma, you'll be delighted to find iconic Roman dishes like Gnocchi alla Romana (semolina dumplings, ramps, goat cheese, and wild mushrooms), Carciofi alla Giudia (artichokes fried in Italian extra virgin olive oil), and Rigatoni alla Carbonara (classic Roman pasta, guanciale, egg, black pepper, and Pecorino Romano). In addition to these Roman staples, our chefs have also prepared some underrated regional specialties, such as Puntarelle in Salsa di Alici (Italian bitter green salad with garlic and anchovy dressing) and Abbacchio a Scottadito (herb-marinated lamb chops with crispy lemon and herb potatoes).
