Eataly Boston's New Spaghetto al Pomodoro

Eataly Boston's New Spaghetto al Pomodoro

If there's one dish that's synonymous to Italian cuisine, it's lo spaghetto al pomodoro. Comprised of just five ingredients, the iconic Italian dish is seemingly simple — and our perfected version is now available at La Pizza & La Pasta!

Naturally, the tale behind our recipe starts in Italy. In 2017, Eataly Italia’s Corporate Executive Chef, Enrico Panero, embarked on a quest to develop the perfect Spaghetto al Pomodoro to represent Eataly on the occasion of our tenth global anniversary. He and his team researched, tested, and honed five simple ingredients (out of dozens of products!) to create the best possible version of the dish. And Enrico’s recipe was good. So good, in fact, that Eataly Boston's Executive Chef Sam De Los Santos is adding it to the menu at our La Pizza & La Pasta restaurant.

Dive deeper into the story with our Eataly Magazine article explaining our chefs' entire journey to perfecting this iconic dish.
