Eataly is proud to carry five DOP, or denominazione d'origine protetta, prosciutti from different regions: Prosciutto di Parma DOPProsciutto di San Daniele DOPProsciutto di Modena DOPProsciutto Toscano DOP, and Prosciutto di Carpegna DOP. This designation guarantees that each product is made according to an authentic regional production method.

A round flatbread hailing from the Romagna side of Emilia-Romagna, piadina has been a staple of the region for centuries, cooked on a hot griddle and folded and filled with salumi, fresh cheeses, and more. This summer, we're featuring the Rimini-style “sfogliata” (rolled out) piadina, which is wide and thin, and made of several overlapping layers of dough. It's no coincidence that this perfectly portable street food is found at striped beachside kiosks that dot the Adriatic coast.
