OUR MISSION

La Pescheria’s concept revolves around relationships. With every single dish, we hope to illustrate the powerful connections we have with the sea including: Italy and Boston's shared ties with the ocean; our valued collaboration with purveyors, fishermen, and sustainable fishing practices; the contrast between historical traditions of the past and innovative ideas of the future; and a fusion between progressive Italian cuisine and fresh New England seafood.

SUSTAINABLE, TRACEABLE, FRESH

The new restaurant will honor all these maritime connections through the use of sustainable, traceable, and seasonal seafood sourced by our regional partners like John Nagle Co., Island Creek Oysters, Red’s Best, and Wulf’s Fish. Each of our partners practices responsible methods by fishing only what is in season, not overfishing, and staying conscious of fish populations. Our menu is focused on no waste (we use all parts of a fish) and incorporating by-catch product (inadvertently caught seafood which otherwise would’ve been wasted). Plus, it's quite likely the fish on your plate was caught the very same morning!

A CONTEMPORARY EXPERIENCE

Designed to be a contemporary bar experience, La Pescheria encourages you to grow your own relationships with local seafood in an approachable and social atmosphere. With dishes like Black Bass Crudo with Noto Sicilian almonds and radish or Rhode Island Calamari with cashew crema and lemon, you can enjoy elevated flavors with an Italian twist while still supporting local fishermen. You'll discover the best of New England seafood with La Pescheria's three-course tasting menu paired with coastal wines and selections from our ever-changing cocktail list.

“SEA” WHAT YOU EAT

On occasion, our fishmongers will showcase our finest products on a seafood cart rolled over directly to you from our fish counter. Why? Because we want you to actually see our freshest daily catches before they even end up on your plate! Loved what you ate? All the seafood on our menu will be available at the fish counter for you to purchase and take home.
