Le Alpi in La Piazza

Le Alpi in La Piazza

Sweeping across northern Italy, the Alps hold a special place in every Italian’s heart. Skiers rejoice in the snowy peaks, travelers fall for the charming villages, and artists are captured by the extraordinary beauty. But above all, everyone loves the food.

Discover the flavors for yourself at Le Alpi, a pop-up restaurant in the heart of Eataly. Just in time for winter in New England, La Cucina, our rotating-concept corner in La Piazza, has transformed into a cozy alpine kitchen. Now, you can experience the Italian Alps without leaving Boston! Keep the party going all winter long, from polenta to vin brulé.

The menu is inspired by Italy’s northern regions, which are known for their hearty, rustic cuisine that is designed to warm you down to your toes after an exhilarating day in the cold mountain air. These traditional dishes developed out of need: stranded among the treacherous peaks, villagers had to be creative with the readily-available ingredients over the long winters. Perfected over centuries, the resulting products are rich with flavor.

Whether you visit Le Alpi for a glass of wine and shared plates or prefer to settle in for a multi-course meal, prepare to be transported to the iconic Italian Alps. But come soon — who knows exactly when La Cucina will be transformed again.
