Taste Italy "from North to South" at New Pop-Up

In Italy, there’s no such thing as “Italian food.”

Surprised? Intrigued? Read on, amici.

Each of the 20 regions boasts a unique cuisine that has developed around the unique culture and biodiversity over centuries. And this fall, you can experience the range of regional Italian cooking without leaving Boston!

Introducing Da Nord a Sud, our latest pop-up that will take you on a culinary trip across Italy "from north to south," only open 'til the end of October. Led by celebrated Boston-based chef Michael Schlow, the pop-up restaurant is taking over La Cucina, the rotating-concept corner in La Piazza. At Eataly, we're excited to once again welcome Chef Schlow, acclaimed for his restaurants across the country, to present his favorite dishes from across Italy.

Accordingly, Da Nord a Sud will greet you with hearty northern fare (imagine Piemontese tagliatelle pasta with wild mushrooms and truffle), wandering down to central favorites (Tuscan beans with tomato and herbs, anyone?), and finally reaching vibrant southern dishes (Sicilian swordfish with eggplant caponata: swoon).

To further your "trip," you can pair your meal with our drink menu inspired by the 20 regions. Giving you a full taste of the biodiversity of the land and sea, the wines range from the mineral volcanic varieties of the south to the rich robust vintages of the north — and everything in between. Ask your sommelier for the best regional pairings!
