Ravioli can date back to as early as the 16th century as a timeless staple in Italian cuisine! Thin pasta sheets filled with soft creamy ricotta, fresh vegetables and cooked until al dente. This flavorful yet humble dish is the perfect way to immerse yourself in any of the 20 regions throughout Italy! Fillings for ravioli resemble the region they are from, and because of this the flavor possibilities are endless! Join us to create one of the many types of ravioli, Ravioli di Ricotta e Spinaci. From the pasta dough to the filling to the sauce; This class will teach you all you need to know to create an amazing dish to bring home!
In this class, guests will:
• Learn the origin about classic Ravioli and the secrets to prepare the authentic dish.
• Participate in the activity to make your own fresh egg pasta dough then assemble the ravioli with your homemade filling.
• Enjoy a homemade Ravioli dish prepared by our Chef of La Scuola along with a complementary glass of wine.
• Take home prepared Ravioli and extra filling from the class, adapted recipe and wine tasting notes.
For the theme of this class we will not be able to accommodate any dietary allergies in order to maintain the integrity and authenticity of the dish. The recipe for the class will feature gluten, and dairy.
Restrictions: Ages 12 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.
Please note, class includes a cooking demonstration and hands-on workshop.
No physical tickets are required, all tickets will be sent via e-mail and be presented at the door to check-in for the class.
