Rolling green hills, cypress-lined dirt roads, and endless rows of vineyards is every travelers’ vision of Toscana. The central region is a favorite travel destination for many reasons, including its dynamic wine production and rich food culture. Famous around the world for its red wines made from the Sangiovese grape (Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano), newer-aged wines that use “international” grapes, in addition to lesser-known white varietals are also making their mark in this celebrated region. Take your taste buds on a trip to Toscana as we sample some of the region’s best wines and cheeses. In this class, guests will:

  • Try different wines from the region of Toscana
  • Learn about the wine producers and the production of chosen wines
  • Learn what flavors and dishes pair well with the featured wines
  • Try different types of cheeses from the region
  • Learn about the cheese producers and their methods of production
  • Take home tasting notes

Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes. All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
