Sip & Savor at Il Patio di Eataly: Wine and Cheese of Southern Italy

The picturesque Southern regions of Italy are characterized by volcanic terrain, terrace farms and idyllic islands that are home to herds of cattle, water buffalo and sheep that dot the landscape. Let's not forget vineyards too!

What better way to spend the evening than with guided tasting at La Scuola exploring the distinctly delectable formaggi and vini from this part of the country? Class will be taught by an Eataly cheese-monger along with one of our wine experts. Together they will lead a tasting of Eataly's most delicious cheeses from the Southern regions which will be paired with just the right wines. As they say, “what grows together, goes together.” In this class, guests will:

• Taste 4 wines from Southern Italy
• Learn about the wine producers and the production of chosen wines
• Try different types of cheeses and meats from the regions
• Learn about the cheese producers and their methods of production
• Take home tasting notes

Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes. All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
