The Cru Riva Gaaci Riviera Ligure dei Fiori DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Roi is obtained from a special selection of olives harvested in Roi's Gaaci olive grove in Badalucco at 1640 feet above sea level, with 40% Taggiasca green olives, 50% Taggiasca not fully-mature olives, and 10% Taggiasca mature black olives. It is a golden yellow extra virgin olive oil, which opens to the nose with slightly fruity and herbaceous perceptions combined with hints of green apple peel. On the palate, the tone is sweet, enriched with notes of dried fruit and accompanied by a bitter and the slightly spicy finish.This olive oil is perfect raw, for flavoring meat and fish dishes with a delicate flavor.
