The Prime Black Angus Filet Mignon from LaFrieda is made with high quality 100% USDA Prime Black Angus Beef (only 3% of all beef in the USA receives the "Prime" grade). Pasture-raised and grain-finished, resulting in the perfect taste and buttery fat content, our Black Angus cattle graze on lush pastures and are raised with no antibiotics, no added hormones, and no artificial ingredients.
The USDA Prime Black Angus Beef Filet Mignon, also known as Tenderloin Steak, comes from the psoas major, a muscle with little marbling that maintains an extremely tender texture because of its minimal usage.
It is best enjoyed grilled, roasted whole or sliced thin for Carpaccio (legend has it that Carpaccio was named after Vittore Carpaccio, an Italian renaissance painter known for his orange reds, and created first at Harry's Bar in Venice.)

This item will be shipped directly by Pat LaFrieda. If you are ordering any items from Pat LaFrieda, they will ship separately from all other items that you order. Pat LaFrieda orders placed before 4 p.m. EST Monday through Wednesday will ship via FedEx Standard Overnight on the following day for a $35 flat rate. Orders received after 4 p.m. Wednesday through 9 a.m. Sunday will ship on Monday for Tuesday delivery. Sunday orders received after 9 a.m., will ship out on Tuesday.
