Pastas of Rome: Carbonara

Icons of Eataly: From May 12th to May 21st, join us in celebrating Italy's most beloved dish: Pasta! Eat, shop, and learn about this icon of Italian cuisine with a series of classes, events, special menus, market experiences and more!

About this Class: Rome is a city famed for it's culture, ancient history, and of course, its pasta! Each Italian region and city is known for unique and authentic pastas dishes, and Rome is famed for its 4 classic pasta dishes: Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, Amatriciana, and Gricia. In this Roman pasta series, we will explore these pasta dishes one by one! On Saturday May 20th, take a trip to Rome for a bowl of Carbonara - watch as our La Scuola chef prepares the dish step by step, enjoy a freshy made bowl yourself, and takeour recipe with you to recreate it at home!

In this Class You Will:

• Learn about pasta traditions from Rome
• Observe as the Chef of La Scuola teaches the group how to make traditional Carbonara
• Enjoy one appetizer and one pasta course at our chef's table in La Scuola, paired with wine selected by our beverages experts
• Take home menus and adapted recipes
