The women of Le Langhe hills in Piemonte were the original artisans behind every egg pasta shape. Today, Antica Madia preserves the skills and recipes their expert hands unfolded with every shape they make.

Made with farm-fresh eggs, these Pappardelle are large, broad, flat pasta. The name derives from the verb "pappare", to gobble up.

For a traditional Piemontese dish, pair the rich pasta with a hearty mushroom or beef sauce.
