A twist on the traditional, this Vegan Holiday Cake is made in the style of panettone with natural yeast that takes at least 30 hours to rise. The vegan version of the holiday treat is made without eggs or butter but has the same rich flavors that we love.

Excellent on its own, this Italian cake pairs well with fresh berries, preserves, and sweet spreads. Enjoy with a cup of coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up, or serve as an after-dinner dessert with a glass of wine.

Founded in 1944 in a small pastry shop on Viale Monza in Milan, the enterprising Angelo Vergani started his own bakery. Now, Vergani is celebrated for its traditional holiday panettone (the classic Christmas cake) and other holiday treats.
