Join us for a hands-on pastry workshop taught by Eataly Chicago's Pastry Chef focused on how to prepare Crostata alla Frutta, a classic Italian dessert perfect for the holidays.  During this workshop, guests will learn how to make the traditional Crostata alla Frutta from start to finish using Eataly's own recipe enjoyed by everyone who tastes it!

Our chef will demonstrate how to prepare the pastry cream, then lead the class in a hands-on workshop on how to build their own Crostata alla Frutta. In addition to making their own dessert, guests will enjoy a tasting of a finished Crostata alla Frutta paired with a glass of prosecco selected by our beverage expert. 

Guests will bring home their own Crostata alla Frutta made in class to enjoy with family and friends, along with an adapted recipe to recreate the experience in their own kitchen.

Additional Information:

  • Seating is guaranteed but is first-come, first-served. Doors at La Scuola open 10 minutes before the start of class, which starts promptly at the scheduled time.
  • Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes. Menu is subject to slight change.
  • All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
  • Guests receive a glass of wine or N/A beverage, a taste of crostata alla frutta and go home with the pastry they make in class.
  • Pricing is inclusive of service and exclusive of Chicago sales tax.
