Panforte is a traditional Tuscan dessert that has been made in Siena since the Middle Ages. Named in honor of Queen Margherita, this chewy, dense cake is studded with almonds and candied citron and orange then dusted with powdered sugar.

Delicious on its own, this sweet treat pairs well with espresso or dessert wine.

The history of Marabissi began almost a century ago with Tuscan cantucci, baked following Signora Jole's own recipe. Three generations later, Marabissi is still known as the very best in the region’s cookies and cakes.
