Have ever dreamed about what your night would be like if you were locked in Eataly?
We admit it: we had — and we work here! We imagined endless plates of salumi and formaggi, an impossible range of decadent dishes, and flowing drinks — all accompanied by the sounds of a grand orchestra serenading us to complete the epic experience, of course.
In December 2014, our imagination was outshone when Eataly New York opened its doors after 10 p.m. for La Bellezza Eataliana, a night celebrating “tutte le belle cose italiane,” or “all the beautiful Italian things.”
In this exclusive event, guests enjoyed delicious food, drinks, and music performed by the renowned Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro Regio Torino, conducted by Maestro Gianandrea Noseda. The event raised awareness of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
As the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro Regio Torino delighted our ears with pieces by Italian composer Rossini, we were served a luxurious menu in collaboration with Barilla and Lavazza. The celebration was completed with selected wines, beers, and specialty cocktails.
At 1 a.m., we concluded with a grand finale as Eataly’s founder Oscar Farinetti orchestrated a special broadcast live to Italy with a final performance by the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro Regio Torino; a spaghettata, the traditional Italian late-night spaghetti feast; and, of course, a toast to La Bellezza Eataliana!
