Pasta Cacio e Pepe

1. BURRATA E TARTUFO NERO

Start the week with an easy antipasto that feels like a weekend treat thanks a few special ingredients.  This recipe combines soft, creamy burrata cheese with the rich and earthy flavors of black truffles. When serving, make sure you let the burrata cheese come to room temperature, which will help your taste buds fully savor the flavors of the dish!

Pick up the ingredients at your local Eataly or online during our pop-up sales this week with 50% OFF Urbani truffle products through February 2.

baci di dama cookies at Eataly

2. BACI DI DAMA

Through the decades, the world has fallen in love the addictive combination that is chocolate and hazelnuts. But do you know where and how this now-famous flavor pairing was invented? When chocolate was rationed in the 1860s in Italy, legend has it that the resourceful Pier Paul Caffarel (the founder of Caffarel chocolates) began to try recipes with a higher proportion of local ingredients, including the famous Piemontese IGP hazelnuts. He named his confection "gianduja," and his flavorful invention took off – and hasn't stopped since! For a traditional treat that will help you fight off any winter blues, try our recipe for baci di dama – "lady's kisses" – with silky gianduja layered between nutty hazelnut cookies.

Through February 2, shop Caffarel gianduja and chocolates at 50% OFF for a taste of traditional Italian confections.

Bistecca alla fiorentina

3. BISTECCA ALLA FIORENTINA

Looking for the perfect recipe for the big game this weekend? Enter: perfectly tender dry-aged beef. Dry-aging involves resting large cuts of meat in a controlled, open-air environment for an extended period of time. This helps to speed up the breakdown of muscle tissue in each cut of beef while also reducing their overall water weight, sealing in flavor and creating a melt-in-your-mouth texture in each and every bite. So, if you ask our chefs the best way to prepare a hefty bone-in cut, they'll point you to a classic bistecca alla fiorentina preparation that allows the flavors and texture of this tender meat to take center stage. Shop the ingredients at your local Eataly and on Instacart on Dry-Aged Day! Mark your calendars to bring home select cuts from Creekstone Farms at 50% OFF for one day only!
