
It's National Cocomero Day, amici, and what better way to celebrate than with a crisp cocktail featuring this seasonal delight! Whether you're hosting friends or kicking back to enjoy a cocktail under the sun solo, our Cocomero al Fresco will not disappoint.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Watermelon
- 3/4oz Simple Syrup
- 1oz Gin
- 3/4oz Cappelletti Aperitivo
- 3/4oz Lemon Juice
- Ice
- 1oz Soda Water
- Garnish (we love fresh lemon or mint!)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut watermelon into 1" cubes
- In a shaker, combine 4 pieces of watermelon and simple syrup. Muddle them together.
- Add to the shaker the gin, cappelletti aperitivo, and lemon juice
- Fill shaker with ice and shake
- Fill wine glass with ice
- Strain mixture into wine glass
- Top with soda water and gently stir
- Add summertime garnish of your choice
