PIAVE DOP CHEESE

Garda

From the breathtaking Dolomite mountains and valleys of the Belluno province, in the northern tip of the Veneto region comes the intense, distinctive Piave DOP cheese. A hard, cow’s milk cheese with rich flavors that grow more intense with aging, Piave DOP is named after the Piave River, which winds an impressive course from mountaintop to valley floor to plain, tracing the course of the land which may be used to create its emblematic Piave DOP cheese.
