Week of Italian Cuisine in the World

Eataly North America is joining more than 130 countries to celebrate La Settimana della Cucina Italiana, or Week of Italian Cuisine in the World.Held every year, the initiative explores the popularity of Italian food and drink abroad, as evidence of the “Made in Italy” brand’s international success.

Over the centuries, Italy’s universally beloved products have become ambassadors for Italian excellence. For each, all-natural ingredients are incorporated into age-old recipes still followed by generations of artisans across Italy’s 20 regions. Thanks to this passion for tradition and quality, Italy is known across the globe for its specialties, from Prosciutto di Parma to Parmigiano Reggiano to Chianti DOCG.

At Eataly — both in Italy and across the world — we have dedicated ourselves to sharing these "eccellenze italiane" by creating a place where guests can taste modern Italian dishes, shop for authentic regional products, and discover their stories and how to enjoy them at home.

The Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is led by The Extraordinary Italian Taste project, which aims to reinforce Italian quality by educating food lovers on how to identify and appreciate authentic Italian products.

In celebration of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World., we’ve organized a special selection of events that represent the best of Italian food and culture at your local Eataly!

From regional curing traditions to the still-secret recipes behind some of Italy's most famous spirits, Italy boasts an incredible diversity of salumi and formaggi and drinks like spirits and coffee. To highlight all that the country has to offer, we're partnering with the Italian Trade Agency to showcase the authenticity and unique traits that make our Italian cured meats and cheeses, spirits, and coffee stand out.
