The Extra Virgin Olive Oil Riviera Ligure di Levante DOP from Lucchi & Guastalli is obtained from a carefully handpicked selection of Razzola, Lavagnina and Pignola olives that grow in the Ligurian part of the lower Lunigiana, a territory straddling Liguria and Toscana. The DOP Riviera Ligure di Levante is less sweet and floral compared to the other DOP Riviera Ligure dei Fiori. The aroma has scent of fruit mainly mature, artichoke, almond and aromatic herbs sensations. On the palate, this extra virgin olive oil has an intense sweet tone together with spicy and bitter mild feeling.
It is perfect with bread, bruschetta, egg pasta, pesto, salads, crustaceans and baked fish.
