The Nebbio Extra Virgin Olive Oil from La Selvotta is unique since it is obtained exclusively from the Nebbio olive variety from centuries-old olive trees in the Vasto area. The Nebbio olives are handpicked and cold-pressed in La Selvotta's small family mill. The aroma is mildly fruity with notes of fresh grass and almond. On the palate, the Nebbio extra virgin olive oil is fruity and herbaceous with a slightly spicy ending. The acidity of this extra virgin olive oil is very low – only between 0.20% - 0.25%.
It is perfect with appetizers with vegetables, fish and meat, boiled vegetables, salads, pasta or rice, fish, white grilled meats, soft cheeses.
