This hand harvested sea salt from Trapani, a province in western Sicily known for its breathtaking coastline, is best used as a finishing salt for salads and meats. These salt crystals are the first to bloom on the surface of salt ponds, and thus retain valuable nutrients that add a subtle mineral flavor. Because of the traditional methods used to harvest Trapani Sea Salt, this is a Slow Food Presidia product.
This salt is perfect for grilled red meats or vegetables.
